Sheryl Lee Ralph performed the Black National Anthem, "Lift Every Voice and Sing," at Super Bowl LVII. The song was written by James Weldon Johnson and his brother J. Rosamond in 1900, and is often referred to as the "Black National Anthem".
Ralph's performance was backed by a full choir on the field, and she sang the song on its 123rd anniversary.
