Boy gets misty-eyed after being surprised with a painting of his late Papa

Emotional footage has surfaced from Takanini, New Zealand, which shows Shayde Main receiving a gift he never asked for but really, really needed.
The gift in question was a canvas portrait of his late father, who passed away in April 2022.
"He lost his papa in April, so I got him this present for Christmas," the filmer, Mahara Waitai shared with WooGlobe.
The first glimpse of the painting leaves Shayde amazed, but this amazement soon takes the form of tears that swamp his eyes. He couldn't have been more grateful for the present!
