Australian teams on the way to help with rescue efforts

Australian Emergency Service personnel are on their way to join the aid and rescue efforts in earthquake hit areas. The 72-person-crew includes fire fighters trained in urban search and recovery as well as seven ambulance paramedics and doctors who have specialist disaster training. The team is taking 22 tonnes of equipment and supplies with them.
