The German Masters is a professional ranking snooker tournament that has been held at the Tempodrom in Berlin, Germany since 2011. The 2021 event was held at Milton Keynes in England because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Ali Carter is the reigning champion, having won the event in 2023. An earlier ranking event, the German Open, was held in Germany from 1995 to 1997. This was followed by an invitational event, called the German Masters, in 1998.

As the sport of snooker continues to grow in popularity, events like the German Masters are becoming more prestigious. Taking place from 1-5 February 2023 at the Tempodrom in Berlin, the German Masters is sponsored by BetVictor and is the 17th edition of the event (originally known as the German Open). This tournament is one of eight events in the European Series and is sure to attract some of the sport's biggest names. With a prize fund of £427,000, the German Masters is one of the most lucrative events on the snooker calendar. This event is organized by World Snooker Tour.
