In a TikTok posted by 102.7 KISS FM, Katy Perry revealed that she once turned down an opportunity to work with Billie Eilish. During an intimate concert, Perry told fans that someone emailed her to ask if they could work with “this new artist”. The popstar explained that the artist had a song called 'Ocean Eyes' and it was “just a blonde girl” so she declined saying, “Meh, Boring”. The 'Dark Horse' singer admitted that this was a “Big mistake. Huge mistake” and then joked, “don't let this hit the Internet”. Eilish’s song 'Ocean Eyes' catapulted her into global stardom and she has gone on to win seven Grammys, a Golden Globe and an Oscar. There is no hard feelings between Eilish and Perry, as she featured in Eillish's 2021 documentary 'Billie Eilish: The World’s A Little Blurry'.
