Mr. Pradeep Sharma, Planning & Policy Advisor to Hon'ble Chief Minister, Chhattisgarh spoke during the panel discussion on 'Building the rural economy around cow.' Nidhi Sinha Editor, Outlook Money moderated the session.

Sharma talked about Gowdhan Nyaya Yojana in Chhattisgarh, which has seen a 35% spike in organic production in cow based product development in the past few years. This scheme ensures that all the farmers and rural people who are cattle owners will now be able to sell cow dung to the government which will be used in vermicomposting in the state.
