Bossa Nova rhythms... and why musicians get it wrong

The content I share in this video is based on the transcriptions and analysis of more than 50 songs played by João Gilberto. I transcribed his rhythmic patterns, and the result of this research will be shared on this channel in the months to come.

To make it clearer, you must know that the "samba pattern" is very common in Bossa Nova. An example where João Gilberto plays it a lot is the album "Jão Gilberto" (1973) bit.ly/3hWV9ln

Also, when I say "in Brazil in particular music isn't transcribed on written sheets of music" it's not accurate, what I mean is that oral transmission plays a bigger role in music transmission than in other countries (like my country, France).
