Um eine Tragödie zu verarbeiten, zieht sich ein traumatisiertes Ehepaar in einsame Waldhütte zurück, die die beiden Eden getauft haben. Dort wollen sie wieder zu sich und zueinander finden. Vor allem ihre schwere Depression, für die sie Tabletten verschrieben bekam, erweist sich als harter Brocken. Als sie merkwürdige Dinge sieht und immer stärkere Angstzustände bekommt, ist er zunächst überzeugt, dass es sich um Symptome ihrer Krankheit handelt. Doch die Bedrohung ist echt: Als das Paar realisiert, dass es von Satan selbst bedroht wird, ist es bereits zu spät.
