BBC की कुछ डॉक्यूमेंट्रीज़ को लेकर इन दिनों हंगामा मचा हुआ है। उन डॉक्यूमेट्रीज़ पर कुछ लोगों ने आपत्ति जताई है तो JNU और जामिया जैसी यूनिवर्सिटीज़ में उसका खूब विरोध होता दिख रहा है। हालांकि ऐसा पहली बार नहीं है, जब BBC की कुछ डॉक्यूमेंट्रीज़ विवादों में आई हैं। बल्कि इससे पहले भी ऐसा होता रहा है। कई दशक पहले जब इंदिरा गांधी देश की प्रधानमंत्री हुआ करती थीं, तब तो उन्होंने BBC पर बैन ही लगा दिया था। एक वरिष्ठ पत्रकार देवेश खंडेलवाल बताते हैं, कि कैसे इंदिरा गांधी, राजीव गांधी से लेकर पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री नरसिम्हा राव तक ने BCC की कई रिपोर्टस पर खुलकर अपनी नारजगी जताई थी। (These days there has been an uproar regarding some BBC documentaries.
