A major power breakdown hit the country, affecting multiple cities, such as, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Islamabad, Quetta and Karachi. The system frequency of the national grid went down at 7:34am today, causing a widespread breakdown in the power system across Pakistan. Orange Line metro train also faces a shut-down due to the power breakdown, causing trouble to many daily users of the train.
