Sweden's prime minister was forced to apologize after a far-right politician burned the Holy Quran during protests against Turkey in his country. Several Islamic States and organizations such as his OIC HAD have condemned the act as "abhorrent" and "unacceptable" Islamophobia. Turkey condemned the act and canceled a visit by the Swedish Defense Minister. The tension arises when Sweden needs Turkey's help to join her NATO.
