Speaking on wrestlers holding a protest against the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) at Jantar-Mantar, The Minister of State from Haryana, Sanjeev Balyan on January 19 said that players should be heard and the investigation should also be done.

He said, “Haryana players have saved the honour of the game at the International level. Players should be heard and the investigation should also be done. Even, our Prime Minister many times said that there should be a change in the structure of the game.”

“I myself have spoken to Bajrang Punia and will meet him after reaching Delhi. I have a personal affection for all the players and I will do what I can for them,” he added.
