Richarlison and Jamie Carragher Continue Love-Hate Relationship by Enjoying Kick-About

Richarlison and Jamie Carragher continued their love-hate relationship by enjoying a kick-about on the Etihad pitch before Tottenham clashed with Manchester City.

The Brazilian forward and the former Liverpool defender have not always seen eye-to-eye, with the feud perhaps peaking when Richarlison told Carragher to 'wash your mouth before you talk about me' last May.

However, water appears to have passed under the bridge, with the two now enjoying a much more jovial relationship.

Evidence of such was shown before Thursday night's crucial clash at the top of the Premier League with Sky Sports briefly showing footage of Carragher and Richarlison passing the ball between themselves.

Asked by anchor Dave Jones whether that was now a signifier that their long-running feud had been put to bed, Carragher jokingly responded they were 'mates' now after Richarlison had 'apologized'.

'I said are you going to be a good boy today, no fighting? He is just going to play football today,' Carragher revealed about their conversation.

The two had seemingly ended their feud earlier in the season when they were filmed enjoying a laugh and a joke at the City Ground following Tottenham's victory over Nottingham Forest.

Richarlison had landed himself in a controversy that day when he showboated with Tottenham cruising in the game over a struggling Nottingham Forest side.

Carragher himself admitted that Richarlison 'winds him up'. He said: 'Woah! It does wind people up. You can't do that. But what is he doing?

'He just winds people up that lad, Richarlison. He winds me up. What do you expect Johnson to do? You're not condoning that but...'

After the pundit aimed criticism at the Brazilian last season, the 25-year-old took to social media to call out the ex-Liverpool defender.

Carra23 wash your mouth before you talk about me and Everton and I don't respect you,' Richarlison tweeted, followed by the smiling poo emoji.

Carragher appeared to squash the squabble, as he replied 'I quite like this, if Twitter was about when I was a player I’m sure I would’ve called pundits out quite a lot!!'
