In this video, adventure travel couple Sammy and Tommy (@sammyandtommy) show you the best things to see and do in Bogotá, the capital city of Colombia. To start the day, they travel to Monserrate, the cultural symbol of the city and home to the Sanctuary of Monserrate, which houses the statue of The Fallen Christ dating all the way back to the 1650s. Back in the city, they take a tour of the world-famous street art downtown and sample some of the sweetest fruit in the world at the Plaza de Mercado Paloquemao. Of course, the pair enjoys some signature Colombian food along the way, such as bandeja paisa and ajiaco soup, as well as real-deal Colombian coffee before ending their day with a game of Tejo, Colombia’s explosive national sport.
