Season 1 sported a treasure trove of Star Wars Easter eggs. From planets like of Ord Manel and Kamino to characters like Hera Syndulla and Captain Rex, The Bad Batch Season 1 used heavy references to the galaxy far, far away as a means of establishing itself and gaining some Star Wars footing. Season 2 will likely take on much of the same tone because Star Wars material thrives on making connections to other properties. One connection that fans can expect is the reappearance of Jedi Padawan Gungi from the Clone Wars.

The premise of The Bad Batch is simple: Clone Force 99 tries to adapt to the new galaxy. However, exactly what they'll be doing in Season 2 is anyone's guess. Yet that hasn't stopped fans from predicting things. Everything from a Commander Cody redemption to rescuing Grogu is on the table for possible plot points, and both would delight fans. Other things that fans would like to see are the regular appearance of Grand Moff Tarkin and the reappearance of Captain Howzer.

The latest set of posters shows off a handful of members of Clone Force 99, also known as The Bad Batch. The posters highlight Hunter, Echo, Tech, and Omega, and also show off some of their new looks for the upcoming second season. Hunter, specifically, is seen sporting a much more colorful set of armor compared to his black and red look from the first season.

When the new season begins, months have passed since the events on Kamino, and the Bad Batch continue their journey navigating the Empire after the fall of the Republic. They will cross paths with friends and foes, both new and familiar, as they take on a variety of thrilling mercenary missions that will take them to unexpected and dangerous new places.

Star Wars: The Bad Batch season 2 stars Emmy Award nominee Dee Bradley Baker as the voice of the Bad Batch, along with Michelle Ang as the voice of Omega. Rhea Perlman returns to guest star as Cid, Noshir Dalal returns to guest star as Vice Admiral Rampart, and Wanda Sykes makes her guest starring debut in the series as Phee Genoa.

The animated series is executive produced by Dave Filoni (Star Wars: The Clone Wars), Athena Portillo, Brad Rau, Jennifer Corbett, and Carrie Beck, with Josh Rimes and Alex Spotswood as producers. Rau is also serving as supervising director with Corbett as head writer and Matt Michnovetz as story editor.
