Plans for a pumped-hydroelectricity development in the central west have alarmed local indigenous communities. Energy Australia wants to build a large concrete reservoir on top of mount walker, near lithgow to better utilise renewable energy in the region. But the proposal has the local Wiradjuri people concerened about the culturally significant mountain.
