The Chinar Corps of Indian Army conducted an emergency evacuation of a pregnant lady, Meema Begum, from a remote village near LoC on January 8.

The evacuation operation was conducted from Chotwali Village, Boniyar Tehsil, to the Primary Health Care (PHC) Center in Boniyar after the Army received information requesting urgent medical assistance for a pregnant lady with severe fever and abdominal pain.

Soldiers evacuated the lady on a stretcher for 3 kms to the nearest motorable road, where she was immediately evacuated to the nearest hospital in Boniyar.
