This song was not about Panama but it could have been. It is about one of the Outer Bank islands off the coast of North Carolina, as told through the eyes of a now old man, looking back over his life. This is song number 10 on the Salter Path album and CD entitled "Will This Town Survive.”

Thanks to Milton Gore on lead guitar and bass, Kristin Kanady on high soprano. Young Ted Willis played organ and strings. Also to Tony Frost and his friends who told me all the stories about growing up out there on that island (while we was a’drinkin’ at the “shed”…)
