Purnima is considered very special in Hinduism. This time the full moon of Paush month will be celebrated on 06 January 2023. This is the first full moon of the year 2023. On the full moon day, the moon is in its full size. Paush is called the month of Lord Surya, therefore the full moon that falls in this month is called Paush Purnima.
