Shares for General Electric ($GE@US) were up 2 percent in premarket trading as GE HealthCare Technologies ($GEHC@US) began trading as a separate company on the S&P 500 Wednesday. Salesforce ($CRM@US) shares rose 2 percent in premarket after the cloud software company announced it’s cutting its staff by 10 percent and closing some of its offices. Target ($TGT@US) dropped 1.3 percent in the premarket after Wells Fargo ($WFC@US) downgraded the stock to overweight. Pfizer ($PFE@US) dropped 1.4 percent in premarket after Bank of America ($BAC@US) downgraded the drugmaker’s stock to neutral.
