NYC thief violently snatches 76-year-old woman's purse, sending her to the ground

Police are searching for a suspect captured on surveillance video violently snatching the purse of a 76-year-old woman. Video released by the NYPD shows the suspect grab the strap of the woman’s purse in Manhattan, New York City, USA, but she pulls it back and the suspect lets go. She starts to walk away, but the suspect decides to try again, pulling harder this time and causing the woman to fall to the ground as he flees. The incident took place at around 2 pm on Sunday (1/1) in front of 88 Leonard Street, an apartment building in Tribeca. Police are asking anyone with information to come forward or submit an anonymous tip.
