Melissa Hurtado requests additional recount in CA District 16 race

Originally, Republican candidate David Shepard had requested a recount. That recount ended last week with the Kern County Elections Office reporting no change in the outcome. Now, Democratic incumbent Melissa Hurtado's team has announced that they have also requested a recount.
