heartbeat restored after suffering cardiac arrest
during the team's January 2 game against the Bengals. .

the Bills said that Hamlin is currently
in critical condition at a Cincinnati hospital. .
The incident occurred
midway through the opening
quarter of the game. .
The 24-year-old athlete was administered CPR
on the field for several minutes after he collapsed
following a tackle by Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins. .
According to ESPN, Hamlin received
oxygen as he was taken off the field
approximately 16 minutes after he collapsed. .
The safety was then taken
to the nearby University of
Cincinnati Medical Center.
According to his team,
Hamlin is currently under sedation
and listed in critical condition.
