Arsenal head into 2023 with a seven-point lead at the top of the Premier League, after proving too strong for Brighton & Hove Albion at The Amex.

They ran out 4-2 winners on the south coast, thanks to goals from Bukayo Saka, Martin Odegaard, Eddie Nketiah and Gabriel Martinelli.

Arsenal got off to a flyer when they took the lead after 66 seconds, as Saka buried a close range effort after Martinelli had a shot blocked.
