Miscreants attack church in Mysuru, vandalise statue of infant Jesus

A church was vandalised by unknown miscreants in Periyapatna in Mysuru on December 27. Various items inside including the statue of infant Jesus was damaged. The incident occurred in St. Mary's Church in Mysusru, father of the church john Paul lodged complaint. As per Mysusru Superintendent of Police money box have been taken away and further investigation is underway. SP, Mysuru, Seema Latkar said, “We have formed a team to nab the culprits, we are also looking for available CCTV footage with nearby cameras, it looks like theft as a money box and other such things have been taken away. Further probe under way.”
