Mercedes-Maybach presented the new model for the first time during an event in Dubai on December 12, 2022. The vehicle was revealed following a curated fashion show by local couture designer Atelier Zuhra. In attendance were VIP guests, media and influencers.

With a limited edition of 150 units, the special edition reflects the brand's philosophy to occasionally release aspirational collectibles. Each vehicle will have a badge in the center console identifying its specific number within the limited run of 150, which was created by Mercedes-most Benz's skilled customisation and craftsmanship team at the Manufaktur in Sindelfingen.

Under the hood. Since Mercedes said nothing about the car’s engine, we assume it will be powered by the same powertrain as the Maybach S680.

The S680 is powered by a twin-turbo, 6.0-liter V-12 engine that delivers a total of 621 horsepower and 664 pound-feet of torque.

All this power is sent to all four wheels via a nine-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive system. The model goes from 0 to 62 mph (0 to 100 km/h) in just 4.5 seconds and up to a top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h).

Pricing has yet to be announced, but the variant will likely cost more than the $229,000 starting price of the Maybach S680.

The Maybach S-Class Haute Voiture starts sales in early 2023.
