Punjab: Ludhiana's former Chairman of market committee robbed at gunpoint

Two unknown assailants carried out a robbery of Rs 80,000 from the office of Ludhiana's former Chairman of the market committee Darshan Lal Baweja in the broad daylight on December 25.
Ludhiana ACP Gurdev Singh said, “Around 2 pm, two masked robbers carrying weapons robbed the office of Ludhiana's former Chairman of the market committee Darshan Lal Baweja and stole approx Rs 80,000 kept in the office. We will file a case. An investigation is underway.”
