This lick is in the key of C♯ major blues.
The first few notes until the bending is based on C♯major pentatonic scale.
And then here comes the B.B. King signature high root note lick (the 21st fret).
The rest of the lick is played in the C♯ minor pentatonic scale position 1.
B.B. King often does this transition to position 1 after playing the high root note.
Try switching between a higher position (such as B.B. King Box) and C♯ minor pentatonic scale position 1.
