Boy miraculously survives cliff fall, tames coyote for company on way home.

Twenty thousand years ago, the tribe made a long journey to a place to hunt yaks in order to solve the food problem. The patriarch's son accidentally fell off a cliff, but he miraculously survived. On the way home he tamed a wild wolf, and they traveled together in pairs on their way home.
