हिंदू धर्म में तुलसी के पौधे का विशेष महत्व है. ऐसी मान्यता है कि जिन घरों में तुलसी के पूजा की नियमित पूजा होती है, उस घर में मां लक्ष्मी और भगवान विष्णु की कृपा बनी रहती है और उसे कभी किसी चीज की कमी नहीं होती है. वहीं तुलसी के पौधे के महत्व को देखते हुए साधु-संतों ने 25 दिसंबर 2014 को तुलसी दिवस मनाने की शुरुआत की. उसी समय से हर साल 25 दिसंबर को तुलसी पूजन दिवस मनाया जाता है. आइए जानते हैं तुलसी पूजन दिवस का क्या है महत्व:-

The Tulsi plant has special importance in Hinduism. It is a belief that in the houses where regular worship of Tulsi is done, the grace of Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Vishnu remains in that house and it never lacks anything. On the other hand, seeing the importance of the Tulsi plant, sages and saints started celebrating Tulsi Day on 25 December 2014.
