Ethel Ann Powell - album The elephant patch 1979
  • anno scorso
The lone strange but despite that beautiful album released by the then 21 years old singer/guitarist Ethel Ann Powell from the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. The album "The elephant patch" was recorded in just five days. Downer acid psych rock-folk-blues LP led by the trembling rough vocals of Ethel Ann Powell, extremely depressing at times with sudden acid leads tweaking in from the excellent electric backing band.

Ethel Ann Powell - vocals, rhythm guitar.
John T. Oxford III - lead guitar, rhythm guitar, strings.
Jody Tanzer - bass, strings.
