The two goals led Ronaldo to set a 'crazy' record as the first male player to collect 100 goals with the national team without penalties.
With two goals against Switzerland, CR7 now has a total of 117 goals with Portugal. However, from that number 16 of them were scored by Ronaldo from the penalty spot, the remaining 111 goals came from open play and free kicks.
According to UEFA's website, only Ronaldo and the Iran national team legend as male players have scored 100 or more goals for the national team. However, only Ronaldo has reached 100 goals without penalties.
