The GMC division of General Motors is best known for its work trucks and commercial vehicles, but the 2023 Yukon is one of the roomiest and most luxurious passenger cars in the company's history. Three rows of passengers may sit comfortably in this big family SUV, which also has a longer wheelbase (referred to as Yukon XL in the video), which increases the amount of cargo space. The majority of models are powered by a V-8, typically a 5.3- or 6.2-liter type, but a 3.0-liter turbo-diesel inline-six is also offered, which is unusual in this market. Although all of the available engines can carry a lot of weight and accelerate quickly, the V-8s aren't very fuel-efficient. With a plethora of technology and convenience features included as standard, the base SLE trim is far from austere, but the pricey Denali trim luxuriates things up to compete with high-end rivals like the Cadillac Escalade and Lincoln Navigator. The Tahoe and Suburban SUVs from sister company Chevrolet, which are both mechanically identical and provide comparable features for a little bit less money, are the Yukon's main competitors.
