The Queensland government has announced they will adopt all the 123 recommendations from the forensic DNA inquiry. A report has found "serious" failures at a state-run lab, caused by a series of factors including "mismanagement" and "dishonesty by senior managers". In addition, 95 million will be injected to the state's lab, and expert witness Professor Wilson Wilde who participated in the inquiry has now been appointed as the interim chief executive officer.
