Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, a four-time Congress MLA, was sworn in as the 15th chief minister of Himachal Pradesh on December 11. The grand ceremony was attended by top Congress leaders including Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and party president Mallikarjun Kharge. 58-year-old Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu was administered the oath of office and secrecy by Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar. Mukesh Agnihotri took oath as the deputy chief minister of the state.
