Three La Fábrica teams will compete in the V Fernández Trigo Memorial, which will be held this weekend in Alcobendas (December 3 and 4). The Alcobendas Football Academy and Rayo Ciudad Alcobendas CF, as in previous editions, organize a tournament with three competition categories: F11 juvenile (2011), F7 juvenile (2012), and youngest. The venues will be the Valdelasfuentes Sports City and the Mario Suárez Field.

The Madrid club will be represented by Álvaro López's Alevín A in the 11-a-side football game, as well as José Villasevil's Alevín B and Rubén Barrios' Benjamín A.

Real Madrid is participating for the third time in this tribute tournament to the figure of Manuel Fernández Trigo (1932-2011), who was the manager of the merengue club itself (1979-1999) as well as the father of the current Football Director of the white entity (Manu Fernandez) (Manu Fernandez). Benjamin B was crowned champion in the previous competition.

For this event, great national youth academies such as Atlético de Madrid, Sevilla FC, Real Betis Balompié, Villarreal CF, Rayo Vallecano, Getafe CF or AD Alcorcón come together.
