Oda was a hard rock band from San Fracisco, California, formed in 1970 by the two brothers Oda Randy and Kevin. The band broke up a few years later. After having been part of Tom Fogerty's band Ruby, in 1984 Randy Oda reformed the band Oda and released one album. "Oda" was also known as the black album. Quite impressive guitar work with echo effects by the leader Randy, powerful rhythm section, hard psych bluesy hippie rock, with a solid songwriting.
