On November 30, the famous elephant Lakshmi of Sri Manakula Vinayagar Temple in Puducherry died. Elephant Lakshmi suffered a cardiac arrest. As per the temple authorities, the 32-year-old elephant collapsed on the road during her routine morning walk. The body was lifted and brought to the Sri Manakula Vinayagar temple so that devotees can pay their last respects. People gathered in large numbers for her last rites. Watch the video to know more.
