Robbing from the Poor to Feed the Rich

  • last year
In 2020, The United States Department of the Treasury launched the Small Business Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) to support small businesses that were struggling due to the global pandemic. The program was designed to help employees by giving their employers up to eight weeks of payroll, including benefits.

Though the intent was good, several business predators took advantage of this program. From multi-million-dollar corporations to televangelists and more, some very despicable people took money that they did not need, leaving businesses that did need the money to suffer — and lay off their employees due to lack of funds.

The Branham organization, Voice of God Recordings, was no exception. According to the Roys Report, Joseph Branham claimed over a million dollars in PPP funds. Only a few years earlier, Voice of God Recordings had so much excess that a second organization, Jehovah Jireh Foundation, was formed to move a hundred million dollars out of the parent company. The same year that the PPP funds were claimed, Jehovah Jireh had over a million dollars in revenue and almost fifty million dollars in assets.

The site exposing these scoundrels was taken offline for several months. Thankfully, the Roys Report is back online, and these “non-profit” organizations and their leaders now have their backsides fully exposed.
