SA Murray River communities rush to prepare as floodwater threatens to inundate properties

South Australians along the Murray are preparing for the worst, as the river levels continue to rise towards their predicted December peaks. Some in those communities will now be eligible for additional federal government disaster payments, designed to help people who lose their incomes during the flood.
