Ecuador, the party poopers of hosts Qatar, returned to the training field after celebrating their 2-0 win on the opening night of the FIFA 2022 World Cup in Doha on Tuesday.

Star striker Enner Valencia and few of the starting players only took part in light training, especially in the presence of media.

The win over Qatar has raised the expectations of Ecuador in Group A and a win or a draw against the Netherlands in their next match would be a great result for the South American side.
