Man arrested on suspicion of murder after two girls are killed in flat fire in Nottingham

A 31-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of double murder after two young girls were killed in a devastating flat fire.
Emergency services rushed to the scene when a blaze ripped through the property in Fairisle Close, Clifton, Nottingham, at 3.17am on Sunday (20/11).
Two children, aged one and three, were taken to the city's Queen's Medical Centre along with a woman, believed to be their mother.
Tragically, the two youngsters were pronounced dead at hospital while the woman remains fighting for her life in a critical condition.
