Mary Butterworth - album Mary Butterworth 1969

  • anno scorso
Mary Butterworth were a trippy stoned psych rock band from South Gate, California, formed in the spring of 1968, and recorded this lone album in 1969. The style is very organ heavy with a sick echo-y drum sound, very psychedelic, with blues fluorishing around, sax and flute and jazzy guitar, and with some early prog elements.

Jim Giordano - guitar.
Michael Eachus - Hammond organ.
Michael Ayling - bass, vocals, flute, saxophone.
Michael Hunt- drums, vocals.

Phase II.
Optional blues.
It's a hard road.
