BBC South East Pier to Pier Challenge for Children in Need in Hailsham

A team of walkers from BBC South East and BBC Radio Kent have completed their mission to walk from Gravesend to Eastbourne in just a few days.
Passing through Hailsham this morning, the walk took them from the north coast of Kent, through Addington, Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells, Heathfield, then the last stretch which included Horam, Hailsham, Polegate and then the final stop in Eastbourne.
It was to raise money along the route for BBC Children in Need.
Leading the walk was TV’s Chrissie Reidy who spoke to Hailsham News as they passed through town today (18 November).
