Malgré la fatigue accumulée, Charles Caudrelier parvient à maintenir de l'avance et ne relève pas le pied à l’approche de la Guadeloupe, car tout le monde le sait, ce tour de l’île peut réserver bien des surprises comme il y a 4 ans. Selon les dernières estimations de sa cellule routage, le leader des Ultims est attendu aux abords de la tête à l’anglais, dans le Nord de l’île, dans la soirée en heure locale soit le milieu de nuit, heure de Paris.
