Battle between maritime unions and tug boat giant Svitzer escalates as hundreds of employees locked out indefinitely

There are fears supply chains could be crippled in the lead up to Christmas after Australia's main tug boat operator announced it would lockout employees from 17 ports around the country. Danish tug boat giant Svitzer and maritime unions have been locked in negotiations over a new enterprise agreement for three years, leading to ongoing industrial action.
