Flu and other respiratory illnesses spiking across the country

An alarming spike of flu cases are happening earlier than usual this year. The CDC says so far this season, there have been nearly three million cases of flu, with 23,000 hospitalizations and 1,300 deaths. Those numbers are nearly double what they were just a week ago, as RSV cases in children are also on the rise.
