The organisms that eat the producers are the "primary consumers" . ... The "primary consumers" are herbivores (vegetarians). The organisms that eat the "Primary Consumers" are meat eaters (carnivores) and are called the secondary consumers. The secondary consumers tend to be larger and fewer in number.
Primary consumers types are herbivores depend on the producer. "Examples Of Primary Consumers" are grasshopper, squirrel, elephant etc.
In secondary consumers types are carnivorous depend on herbivores for food. "Examples Of Secondary Consumers" frog, owl, fox etc.
In apex or top consumers types are carnivorous depends on herbivores for their food. Examples of apex or Top Consumer tiger and lion etc. No other animal feed on apex or top consumers.
In omnivores types depend upon producer and secondary consumers. Examples of omnivores human, Bear, sparrow etc.
