Luka Dončić, dropped in a game-high 36 points to go along with 6 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 steals and 1 block as the Dallas Mavericks beat the Brooklyn Nets 96-94.

Dončić now scored 30+ points in each of the team’s first nine games – the second-longest 30-point streak to begin a season in NBA history. “That’s Luka trusting me, he knew they had two on him and he just said go get the ball. That feels good when the best player on our team is telling me to go to the ball down the stretch,” said Dorian Finney-Smith who scored a season-high 18 points (5-9 FG, 2-5 3FG, 6-6 FT), including 10 in the fourth quarter, to go along with 3 rebounds.

Kevin Durant led the Nets with 26 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists. Durant has scored 25+ points in each of the team’s first 11 games to begin the season, becoming the 7th player in league history to do so.
