Because no one liked the look of Lord Shri Ram inside the teaser, neither Hanuman nor Ravana. Earlier, this film was to be released on 12 January 2023. But now this film will be released after five months of it's prior date, ie. on 16th June 2023; as the makers of this film need time to improve this film. The makers of this film have shared a post on social media today, in which it is written that Adipurush is not a film, but a reflection of our devotion towards Lord Shri Ram and commitment to culture and history. To give a complete visual experience to the audience, we have to give more time to the teams working on the film. We are committed to making a film that Indians will be proud of.
